Nothing much has been happening this week.  I’m T-minus less than two months already!  I feel like I’m slacking on my language training, especially since Olga was unable to get her work visa renewed in time and isn’t at work.  I’ll probably start looking over the Ukrainian language training material I have for Peace Corps this week and get a few lessons done.  I did get a good app on my phone that is quizzing me on the Cyrillic alphabet.  I thought I had it down pretty well, but the quiz has shown that I just knew the order of the sounds, and didn’t have them down as well as I thought.  The quiz app is a definite help.

Other than that, I’m ebbing daily (or even hourly) between excitement, fear, sadness, and joy.  I know the next two months will be a roller coaster ride of emotions, which probably won’t subside until I’m in Ukraine for six months or so.  I’m kind of excited about that though, since the last few years of my life have been pretty steady coasting, even despite the challenges of grad school.  I couldn’t be more ready for the daunting change ahead.
